What if JFK had never been killed? Find out in this Prey trailer

President John Kennedy was strong on the US space program. How would the world have evolved if he had survived the assassination attempt? This new Prey trailer shows one possible alternative.

Prey, the upcoming first-person thriller from Arkane Studios (the creators of the Dishonored series) is set in an alternative vision of 2032, in which John Kennedy had survived the assassination attempt and managed to push the US space program much forward during his presidential term. The story takes us onto Talos I space station featuring very luxurious neo-deco stylistics – although modern, it is visibly rooted in the 1960s, when it was first built. This new Prey trailer, revealed by Bethesda, discusses the alternative future in the game with Creative Director Raphael Colantonio:

In Arkane’s vision of history, maknind were able to achieve technological advancement much earlier than we did in our reality, which did not go without an impact on how technology works and looks. Despite its apparent splendor and glow, however, Talos I is not be a friendly place, at least not throughout Prey’s story. You’ll play as Morgan Yu, one of the crew members, who wakes up one day only to see the station overrun by aliens. Not only he has to survive, but also discover the secrets around his own identity

Prey is scheduled to launch in 2017 on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
