Great news for fans of classic RPGs. Obsidian Entertainment’s Tyranny is coming out to PC in less than a month – the release date has been set for November 10, 2016, as revealed in the brand new story trailer (posted above). The game’s publisher Paradox Interactive have already opened a pre-order page on their official website, but you can also get Tyranny directly from Steam. There are three editions available: Commander Edtion ($44.99), Archon Edition ($59.99), and Overlord Edition ($79.99) – the content of each is listed in the chart below:

Tyranny comes in three editions.

The scope of Tyranny may be smaller than Obsidian’s previous title, Pillars of Eternity, but it stands out with a unique story setting. After all the cases of saving the world, or having to work your way from a peasant to a hero, this time we’ll get to play as a powerful officer of an evil overlord. The player’s task is to determine the fate of thousands of inhabitants of a fantasy realm, which is yet to be completly subdued by Kyros the Overlord. The game will also use original mechanics, such as team-based combos or spell crafting.
