Murdercrows is a mod for Stardew Valley, created by aedenthorn.

Description:

These things don't just scare the birds. Good thing, too, because you'll need them to survive the waves of monsters that are going to invade your farm every daylight hour of every day.

This mod does two things. It makes your scarecrows, rarecrows, and deluxe scarecrows murderous, and adds gold and iridium scarecrows that are even more murderous, and causes increasingly difficult waves of monsters to attack your farm every hour on the hour from 9 AM to 6 PM.

Okay, that's three things.

Murdercrow abilities are as follows (subject to change at whim):

Scarecrows: shoot rocks.

Rarecrows: spew short directional fire.

Deluxe Scarecrows: shoot some green blob-looking thing.

Gold Scarecrows: also shoot green blob-looking things, but better.

Iridium Scarecrows: spew long, chaotic (but pretty-looking) fire.

These abilities are for the sole purpose of murderizing the hordes of evil monsters that have plagued Stardew Valley's farmlands for too long!

But, you say, hordes of evil monsters haven't been plaguing your farmlands? Well, say no more! Because now they do!

With this mod, hordes of enemies not only invade your farm, but destroy things too! Lots of things! Trees, fences, murdercrows, crops... nothing is safe, so prepare carefully!

Not that it will make a difference; you're going to die and all your bases are belong to us.

This mod is hard on the CPU. Or something. I'll try and tweak it better, but in the meantime, having too many murdercrows and invaders at once can slow your fps.

You can also turn down the max simultaneous monsters in the config, that might help.

And you can also turn off the monster spawning and just keep the murdercrows. Because nothing says safety like a green blob-looking-thing-spewing straw person.

Instructions:

Install the latest version of SMAPI and Json Assets

Unzip the mod folder into Stardew Valley/Mods.

Run the game using SMAPI.
