Classic Sonic Improvement Mod Generations Edition is a mod for Sonic Generations, created by Showin.

Derscription (in author’s own words):

The aim of this mod is to improve Classic Sonic's gameplay in Generations. Note that this doesn't mean he was bad in the original game. This mod simply makes some tweaks and changes to make him play more like one would expect.

Here's a list of some of the changes.

1. Classic Sonic more closely resembles his renders.
2. Classic Sonic controls more like the classic games.
3. His jump is lighter.
4. Spindash is nerfed to feel more like the classic games. (OP SPINDASH IS OPTIONAL!)
5. Sonic is much less prone to uncurling after spindashing / rolling.
6. Rolling feels more like the classics and can even keep speed down steep slopes.
7. Springs function more like the classic games.
8. Shield monitors are actually present as power ups within stages.
9. Removed a lot of scripting.
10. Super Sonic is faster.
11. Some (personally) unfitting elements in stages have been altered. Such as the realistic birds being replaced with the more fitting flickies.
12. Various other changes!

To install use:

HedgeModManager. Install it and select Sonic Generations. It will create “Mods” folder where the game is installed. Just extract the mo’ds archive into “Mods” folder.
