Hitman's prologue available for free

As Io-Interactive now has full rights to the Hitman franchise, they decided to make the first location in the game free for all players. Enjoy!

As you may have heard, Io-Interactive became a fully independent studio after a buyout from Square Enix. To celebrate this momentous occassion the company decided to make the first location in last year’s Hitman available for free across all platforms: PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Starting today (Steam version should unlock in several hours), players will be able to download the game’s prologue set in ICA Facility location and play there as much as they want.

The Playground, as the developer calls it, offers everything in the first location from the game, which includes: two story missions with all cut-scenes, two Escalations Contracts, over 40 challenges and 17 achievements. Those of you who try out the free version and decide to purchase the remaining episodes will get a discount up to 60% (depending on the platform), and of course will be able too keep all saved games and achievements.
