The Star Wars: Battlefront II open beta is closing in – the testing will start this Friday and run through Monday (October 6 at 1:00 AM PDT through October 9 till 7:00 AM PDT) on all platforms: PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The beta will let players test several multiplayer modes and maps, which were briefly teased in this new trailer shared by Electronic Arts:
What exactly players will get to experience in the Star Wars: Battlefront II beta? There are four multiplayer modes waiting to be tested:
- Gallactic Assault – two 20-player teams compete against each other in an assault on the royal palace on Naboo;
- Starfighter Assault – take down a Star Destroyer over Fondor as a Rebellion pilot or defend it in the name of the Empire;
- Strike mode – 8 vs. 8 players fight around the Maz Kanata’s castle on Takodana in objective-based scenarios;
- Arcade mode – single-player skirmishes in Theed, the capital of Naboo.
The full release of Star Wars: Battlefront II is scheduled for November 17, 2017.
