At the beginning of 2019, the third edition of the Darkening of Tristram has launched. Once again, players with Diablo III with Reaper of Souls expansion set can visit the locations known from the first part of the game. Tracking a mysterious group of cults in adventure mode, the player discovers a portal leading to the historical version of Tristram. The event is limited in time - it will end on February 1, 2019.

During the action you can visit the locations known from the first Diablo, headed by the Cathedral. A total of 16 levels divided into four zones await you to explore. Thanks to the use of RetroVision technology, graphics in the locations connected to the event gets older. As a result, locations resemble their original versions more than two decades ago. Older heroes and opponents also return, as do classic items. There is also no shortage of thematic patterns for transmogrification, animals or achievements.

The event is taking place for the third time and over the years it has not undergone any significant changes. Therefore, it will be rather unattractive for players who had already taken part in it before.
