Postapocalypse can be beautiful. It was proved to us by the creators of Horizon Zero Dawn or The Last of Us (just to mention the memorable scene with giraffes). Also, the upcoming Metro Exodus from the Ukrainian studio 4A Games is to offer breathtaking views of a ruined world. What is important, it will be easy to keep them. On Twitter, the creators of the next installment of the series set in the universe of Dmitry Glukhovsky announced that there will be a photographic mode, which is said to have been fervently requested by fans. It is not known, however, whether it will limit itself to hiding the interface and adding filters, or whether it will allow for any camera setting, for example, to cover the whole model of the hero. We'll see it on February 15, when Metro Exodus will be released on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Resident Evil 2 Remake PS4 Achievement List

We are just over two weeks away from the premiere of the remake of the cult survival horror movie Resident Evil 2, officially announced back in 2015. So it's time to present a full list of 42 trophies you can get while playing on your PlayStation 4, including quite standard achievements such as creating a certain number of items or defeating your opponent with a knife, as well as more complex and harder to get, in the style of completing the game without using medication or opening an item box.

We would like to remind you that from 11 January to 31 January a demo version of Resident Evil 2 Remake will be available, which will allow you to enjoy the game for 30 minutes.

X4: Foundations Multiplayer Beta

The beta mode of X4: Foundations, the next installment of the space simulator cycle popular in some circles from the Egosoft studio, is in progress. However, it doesn't look like some might imagine. It allows you to send your ships to the universe of another player, but it does not allow you to join personally.

The transferred ships have their missions, which can last from one hour to several days in real time. They do not include any aggressive targets, so those who are afraid of invasions can relax, at least for the time being. Egosoft does not rule out the possibility of allowing players to attack each other in the future.

Please note that the network functions are completely optional. If you don't want to play with them, you can ignore them.

As a curiosity, it is worth mentioning that this is the first time that Egosoft studio decides to add network features to the game from the X series. The question is, did the developers choose the right way, or maybe a more classic multiplayer would be better? There will be a time when the mode will come out of beta.

A new short story from the Overwatch universe

A new story from the Overwatch universe, entitled Bastet, has been released on the web. Its author, Michael Chu, the main scriptwriter of the popular online action game from Blizzard, focused on Ana and her friendship with Jacek Morrison, or Soldier-76. The two meet in Cairo for the first time in many years, which is an excellent excuse to reveal some new facts about their biography. We learn, among other things, that one of the former Overwatch commanders was in a relationship with a man named Vincent. This makes him the second, after Smudge, representative of the LGBT in the game.

Jeff Kaplan, the game's director, emphasizes that the goal of the Overwatch team is to create a universe in which absolutely everyone is welcome (which will translate into higher sales, of course). The presence of characters from different cultural backgrounds and different orientations helps to create such an image of the game. In the end, however, it doesn't matter much for the fun itself.
