Yakuza Kiwami PC without Denuvo; price and hardware requirements revealed

Yakuza Kiwami has been officially listed on Steam, revealing the game's hardware requirements, price, and the fact that it will not use Denuvo.

Just yesterday we’ve informed about the announcement of the release date of the PC port of Yakuza Kiwami, which was set for February 19. Today, the game’s official page appeared on Steam. Thanks to it we got to know more details about the production, including its minimum hardware requirements, as well as the price, which will amount to $19.99. At the moment, the players can also place preorders with a 10% discount. For $17.99, they will also receive a digital manga, wallpapers and avatar icons with the main characters.

Yakuza Kiwami – minimum hardware requirements:

  1. OS: Windows 7 (64-bit)
  2. CPU: Intel Core i5-3470 or AMD FX-6300
  3. RAM: 4 GB RAM
  4. GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 or AMD Radeon HD 6870

It seems that unlike last year's Yakuza 0, the remake of the first installment of the cycle will not use the controversial Denuvo DRM software. This is indicated by the official Steam website and the information provided by the publisher. Of course, it is likely that the developer will turn on Denuvo on the day of the title's release, because as so far practically all major Sega titles have used the software. However, there is an exception – the PC version of Catherine, which was released a little over a week ago, also got rid of the disliked DRM, which hipefully may indicate a lasting trend.
