Is new graphics card of Nvidia going to debut on 15th of February?

IN A NUTSHELL:

  1. GeForce GTX 1660 Ti is probably going to be released on 15 of February with a price of $279;
  2. In March, cheaper models should appear like GTX 1660 and GTX 1650.

According to HardOCP (referring to unknown sources), the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti graphics card will debut on February 15, next month. It is supposed to be a product designed for people who want solid performance at a reasonable price (it is said to cost 279 dollars), and at the same time players who aren’t worried about modern functions like ray tracing or DLSS – GTX 1660 Ti will most likely be devoid of them, despite the fact that similarly to RTX series chipsets it will be based on the Turing architecture.

The exact specification of the new video card from Nvidia has not been confirmed yet, but according to earlier rumors, we will find a TU116 chip equipped with 1536 CUDA cores (384 less than in the case of GeForce RTX 2060) and 6 GB of GDDR6 memory compatible with 192-bit bus (in this case the specification does not differ from the mentioned chip, which appeared on the market a little over a week ago).

What is interesting, according to rumors, Nvidia's next graphics cards designed for less demanding users will debut in March – GTX 1660 (model without "Ti", with a price of $229) and GTX 1650 (valued at $179). The market will become quite crowded, especially as there are still budget GTX 10xx series chipsets on the market.

So far, all the above information should be treated as gossip – details such as prices and release dates may still change.
