Here Are the Winners of Steam Awards 2018

During a special, short broadcast Valve has presented this year’s winners of The Steam Awards gala, awarded by the users of Steam in several rather unique categories.

As announced, today at 10.00 AM. we got to know the winners of The Steam Awards 2018. The winners were presented for the first time during a special program, which can be seen on the official website of the gala. A total of eight awards were presented. The finalists were voted for by Steam users during last year's Christmas and New Year's sale. Apart from the standard title of the game or developer of the year, distinctions were also presented in some quite unusual categories, such as Labor of Love or Most Fun with a Machine.

The game of the year according to the players on Steam was popular the battle royale title Playerunknown's Battlegrounds. The title of the best developer was won by the Polish team at CD Projekt RED, which defeated as many as nine other nominees. The biggest work of this team, i.e. the third installment of the Witcher series, was the winner in the Best Environment category.
