ANTHEM IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. Developer: BioWare
  2. Publisher: Electronic Arts
  3. Genre: action game
  4. Platforms: PS4, PC, XONE
  5. Release date: February 22, 2019

The day after tomorrow is the official release of Anthem, the online action game by BioWare. As it has become a custom for such games, a day one patch will be released simulatneously. The developers have revealed what we can expect from it.

The first update will reduce loading times. This is good news, because long and frequent loadings are one of Anthem's most serious problems. The patch will also fix the bug that sometimes caused mission loadings to get looped, making further play impossible. The devs also promise to solve problems that cause the game to freeze or lose connection to the servers and those that result in the lack of proper recording of progress in challenges.

Thanks to the update, the game will start displaying stat modifiers of weapons and gear. Problems with the camera appearing in cut-scenes will also be fixed. In addition, if you lose the connection to the server and you log back into the game, you will be added to the same team as before. Anthem will also receive an improved game balance and fixes for the throng of small bugs that make it difficult to complete many missions.

Let's remind that Anthem was is heading for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The game will be released on February 22.

Next Friday is in fact nothing more than the day, when the game will become available to all interested parties. Origin Access Premier subscribers have been playing Anthem since last Friday, so the patch will be released for them one week after the game's local launch. Judging by the first, not entirely positive impressions, the update is very needed, because players complain primarily about long loading times and general lack of technical polish.
