Oscars 2019: Black Panther Triumphs!

Another prestigious American Film Academy Movie Awards - Oscars ceremony took place yesterday. The producers and creators of Bohemian Rhapsody, Green Book and Black Panther have reasons to celebrate.

The 91st Oscars ceremony – the most prestigious movie awards granted by the American Film Academy, has ended. The controversial nomination of the Black Panther in the "Best Picture" category did not turn into a victory, although the creators of Marvel's superproduction still have reasons to be satisfied, as they return home with three statuettes awarded in other categories.

Black Panther has lost in the Best Picture category.

The Green Book, a comedy-drama has won the Best Picture category, while the most statuettes were taken over by Freddy Mercury's biography with Rami Malek in the lead role – Bohemian Rhapsody. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was an unexpected (though in the opinion of many viewers, definitely deserved) winner of the " Best Animated Film" category.
