The end of the throne game is imminent.

A month and a half separates us from one of the most important television premiere of this year. April 14th will bring the first of the six episodes of the final season of the Game of the Thrones, the wildly popular series based on the saga of fantasy books, The Song of Ice and Fire, by George R. R. Martin. The promotional campaign is already well underway. In recent months, two teasers, a short mix of scenes and a few photos have been published. Now is the time for posters. There are twenty of them (some of them you can check out below) and according to the tradition of the series, they present characters important for history. Each of them sits on the Iron Throne, which, of course, raises the question of who will ultimately win the game? Jon? Daenerys? Cersei? Or maybe the Night King? Everything will become clear on May 19, when the last episode of the series will be broadcast.

Produced by HBO, The Game of Thrones is a series that has been broadcast since 2011. For eight years, it has won the hearts of many fans all over the world and collected more than 350 different awards and nominations. It is worth noting that this production will be the only way to know the end of the Song of Ice and Fire. It has long overtaken the book's original, and George R. R. Martin somehow does not hurry to publish two final volumes of his magnum opus - Winter Windstorms and Spring Dream. Therefore, if someone prefers novels, he or she will have to wait some time for the story to reach a conclusion.

We would like to remind you that the last season of the Game of the Thrones does not mean a definite farewell to George R. R. Martin's fantasy universe romance with television. Works are already underway on a serial prequels of the saga, entitled The Long Night. It will star Naomi Watts, Josh Whitehouse, Naomi Ackie, Denise Gough, Jamie Campbella Bower, Sheila Atim, Ivanno Jeremiaha, Georgie Henley, Alex Sharp and Toby Regbo, among others. For the time being, only the production pilot was realized, but given the interest enjoyed by this franchise, it is unlikely that it should be canceled .
