Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC and PS5? New console from Sony?

According to an anonymous source, Sony’s fifth generation console will be announced at the end of 2019 and will receive a remaster of Red Dead Redemption 2, which will also hit the PC. The not-so-trustworthy leak also reports of Kal-El: Rise of the Kryptonians – supposedly a Superman game from Rocksteady studios – and a new Naugty Dog project, created with the help of James Cameron.

Rockstar is going big once again. The developer has just unveiled that its newest “GTA-Western,” Red Dead Redemption 2, features around 200 different species of animals, birds, and fish. This includes, among others, 19 breeds of horses. Not only this, but all of them are there for a reason.

Meet Red Dead Redemption II’s protagonist in this new trailer

Rockstar has given fans a real stir by releasing a fresh trailer for Red Dead Redemption II, the next entry in its Wild West sandbox action game series. The video takes a peek at the game’s protagonist and what kind of man he is. This time, it seems, we are going to impersonate a real bandid, wanted dead or alive. The name is Arthur Morgan, and he is working for the Van der Linde gang “as they rob, fight and steal their way across the vast and rugged heart of America in order to survive”.

Red Dead Redemption 2 delayed to spring 2018, see new screenshots

Red Dead Redemption 2 is not coming out this fall, after all. Rockstar Games has announced that the game’s release date on consoles has been pushed to spring 2018. The reasons for the delay are pretty simple – the team at Rockstar are going to need a bit more time “to ensure that [they] can deliver the best experience possible for [their] fans” and will deliver the game “only when it is ready”. Rockstar has also promised to reveal more details about Red Dead Redemption 2 this summer. For now we have to make do with a couple of new screenshots.

Red Dead Redemption 2 release date possibly leaked

Red Dead Redemption 2 could be launching on October 3, 2017 – such information appeared on the product page in an online store of a popular Polish retailer Media Markt. The date was soon changed to an obvious placeholder, but before that happened a Polish game news website reported that they had received a confirmation of the date from the store. Later on, however, the store retracted that original statement. Could that have been due to a fear of an NDA violation?

Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer is here; Red Dead Redemption soon playable on PC via PlayStation Now

Rockstar Games have shared the very first Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer, which shows off a few bits of atmospheric sceneries set in the American heartland. The next installment in this Wild West-themed open-world action game series is coming out on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in fall 2017, but we strongly hope that some time later it will also hit PC. In the meantime, PC players will be able to catch up with the original Red Dead Redemption, as the game will soon become available for streaming via PlayStation Now.

Red Dead Redemption 2 confirmed; coming to consoles in fall 2017 [Update]

After teasing several solid hints that the next Red Dead game is in the making, Rockstar have officially confirmed the news. Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in fall 2017 – unfortunately, there is no word of the PC release. The game will feature a vast world set in the Wild West as well as a “brand new online multiplayer experience”. The first trailer is going to be revealed this Thursday.
