11 Things Done Faster than Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed – again! It made us wonder about how long this game has been in development, and we started to compare it to... anything that came to our minds, actually.

Daenerys completed her journey and burned a city on the other side of the world

  1. Duration: 8 years
  2. When: 2011 – 2019

It didn't end well. The eight seasons of Game of Thrones (first released in 2011, the last in 2019) presented wavering quality, but in general, it was a pleasant watch. We followed the adventures of many heroes, including Daenerys Stormborn, who, under pacifistic leadership, united not-so-pacifist groups.

How it ended, we know all too well – mocking memes, death threats and a real shitstorm on the Internet. Daenerys finally decided that violence actually was the solution, and she burned the bridges behind her, and then the whole city – the King's Landing. All that in eight years – kudos!

But jokes aside, the adaptation of such a grand story as Game of Thrones inspires admiration. And while not everything went as it should in the end, I still enjoy all the years. It's still a great show for many wonderful evenings! And I'm sure it will be the same with Cyberpunk. I mean, I'm not quite sure, but I am holding my breath!
