Prince of Persia

Prince of Persia is a difficult and quite short platform game, which some time ago charmed with its atmosphere of oriental dungeons that players had to traverse as the titular prince, who has fallen in love with the princess imprisoned by the evil visier. The plot is simple as that, however it has some exotic taste to it. The elements resembling the popular fairy tale adapted by Disney are not deliberate.
At the time, the game surprised with its revolutionary animations and many got hooked on it. As I already mentioned - it wasn’t long, as it lasted exactly an hour, after which you lost, provided you didn’t reach the chamber with the princess. On his way, prince has to face the guards (the sword combat system was quite good), chasms, and traps.
HOW WELL DID IT AGE?
Quite well, actually. We’re talking here about a thirty-years-old game which despite its pixelated visuals, pleads its pleasant animations, engaging and challenging gameplay, as well as unique atmosphere.
