The year 2020 was not much of a year and we want to forget it already. Since the bar is so low, there's a good chance that the coming months will be much more satisfying – also in terms of new MMORPG releases. Because you can't postpone them indefinitely!

Starbase

Starbase is a promising project that can reshuffle the market. There's few other games that would provide completely destructible environment and combine that with a sci-fi setting in an MMO game! Everything is made from individual elements, and Starbase will give us the right tools to split them and reshape them as we see fit. So there is no shortage of opportunities!
Starbase's sandbox character means freedom is the most important element. We'll start by designing our own ship, not just visually, but functionally. Players will need the basics understanding of programming, allowing them to use artificial intelligence to perform certain actions automatically. The last advantage (for some, however, it may be a disadvantage) is the characteristic, voxel-based graphical setting. The game will be released in early access via Steam in the first quarter of 2021.
