Azeroth's All Saints. Who Can We Meet in WoW Shadowlands?

A new addition to World of Warcraft, Shadowlands, gives us the opportunity to meet many characters killed earlier – we invite you for a short guide to the strange and dangerous WoW worlds.

Station no. 4: The fairytale-like Ardenweald

Finally, the landscape is changing to something much more friendly to our eyes. I welcome you to Ardenweald, the embodiment of Shakespeare's "Midsummer Night's Dream". Excuse me? No, Shakespeare is not in Shadowlands, or at least I know nothing about it. But you will find a lot of druids, fairies, or animals here - it's like a picturesque garden of the afterlife. But don't be fooled by appearances, this land is as beautiful as it is dangerous.

When traveling through Ardenweald, you must keep your eyes open because mischievous fairies like to play tricks. Watch out for animals as well, as they often turn out to be the souls of intelligent beings that just happened to have taken on this form in Shadowlands. For example, our Anaya Dawnrunner thought she would feel good as a tiger. You must forgive her choice, but she has a tragic past. In Darkshore, you could encounter her restless soul. It was only after she was killed and the necklace was given to her beloved that Anaya could find her way to Ardenweald.

Also Volcor comes from Darkshore. However, he decided on the form of a bear. Why a bear? Well, that's another sad story. Volcor died as a result of the Cataclysm that swept through the town of Auberdine. Unfortunately, he could not be saved, but he lived long enough to see that his beloved bear companion survived. Apparently, this is why he decided to take the form of a bear.

Heralath Fallowbrook, in turn, lost his life in Razorfen Kraul. If you supported the Alliance, you could at least do him a favor - find the stolen necklace and give it to his wife in Darnassus. You will find the Elf in Ardenweald, and many other members of this race who died as a result of Sylvanas' actions. Unfortunately, the burning of Teldrassil caused The Maw to be flooded by a river of souls. It was only thanks to Ysera's actions that the wronged elves were able to reach their rightful place of eternal rest.

Obituary: Ysera

Cause of death: Tyrande Whisperwind

Ysera was one of the Dragon Aspects and the guardian of Emerald Dream. She woke up to fight alongside her siblings against Deathwing, ending up in her sacrificing her powers given by the Titans. For a long time she served as an advisor to the druids of Azeroth, but during the attack of the Burning Legion she was corrupted by the satyr Xavius. Eventually the dragoness dies at the hands of Tyrande Whisperwind, who wanted free Ysera from her suffering. At that point, the moon goddess Elune herself imtervened and purified the soul of the former Dragon Aspect and letting her be reborn in Shadowlands.

However, Ysera's return was not so easy. Ardenweald is struggling with its own problems, and even the soul of a dragoness must come to terms with the past. Eventually, thanks to Winter Queen, Ysera is able to be reborn in Shadowlands. As a result, however, she will never be able to return to Azeroth and will remain in Ardenweald forever.
