Azeroth's All Saints. Who Can We Meet in WoW Shadowlands?

A new addition to World of Warcraft, Shadowlands, gives us the opportunity to meet many characters killed earlier – we invite you for a short guide to the strange and dangerous WoW worlds.

Table of Contents

Station no. 5: The gothic Revendreth

It's the last stop of our trip, dear traveller. Last, but not least in terms of atmosphere! For what spans before you is Revendreth, the kingdom of what mortals would call vampires. It is dark enough here, there are castles and there's definitely a bloodsucker or two running around.

There are also be tombstones hiding many secrets! One of them reveals, for example, that Shan Bu, a Mogu who served Thunder King, who tried to get his master back to Azeroth, came to this land. A similar fate was shared by Butcher of Scholomance, whose tombstone can be found in Revendreth. During his lifetime, he provided bodies for necromancer experiments that took place in Scholomance. He avoided The Maw because he showed remorse, but it is unknown what happened to him next.

In this gothic land we will also encounter Zul'jin, who did not find peace in Shadowlands. His soul waits for Venthyr's representatives to judge him and agree to his redemption. Until then, however, the troll is doomed to roam Revendreth as a Wrathful Soul.

You must also know that in this land is also the home to a soul of a horse. Not just any horse, but Blanchy. I don't know if you remember the good old Blanchy from Westfall. She came there from a stable in Tarren Mill and was to serve as a horse on the farm. She even had her episode in Grizzly Hills! However, you must know that when Deathwing arrived, she was murdered by bandits from Defias Brotherhood.

Why is its restless soul wandering around Revendreth? Nobody knows that! But I will tell you a secret - I heard that it is possible to tame Blanchy's soul and even saddle her. It was also mentioned not to come near her body in Azeroth when riding her, because she goes berserk. If you are a brave traveller, find out for yourself how much truth is in my words. I'm just gonna remind you that Blanchy was nicknamed Sinrunner for a reason!

Obituary: Kael'thas Sunstrider

Cause of death: bad decisions caused by the desire to save his people.

The prince of Quel'Thalas had a significant influence on Azeroth and his actions have left their mark on the history of this world. Initially he took the side of the Alliance, only to end up at Illidan's side. However, he betrays him to joing the Burning Legion when its ruler, Kil'jaeden, promises Kael'thas salvation for the blood elves. As a result of his plots the blood elf is sentenced as a traitor and executed.

Kael'thas was difficult to get rid of, however. The defeated prince returned to summon his master thanks to the power of Sunwell, but also this plan does not work out. Eventually, he ends up as a soul in Revendreth, but he does not find peace there either. He is imprisoned in Castle Nathria, but not to answer for his sins. Kael'thas is used to generate anima through brutal experiments that burden his soul.

Eventually the prince is rescued and now he awaits redemption, helping the Venthyr forces in their fight against the Jailer. However, Kael'thas himself wants revenge on Kel'Thuzaad, whose soul resides in Maldraxxus. He admits, however, that in the end his actions did more harm than good, and he failed to save his people.
