The Best Android Games 2020

The first quarter is behind us, and we already have a pretty decent selection of mobile games to check. Especially now, when a lot of people have more time.

Table of Contents

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night

  1. Genre: metroidvania
  2. Requirements: Android 4.4
  3. Price: $4.99

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is a game that needs no introduction to any fan of metroidvania, but thee young'uns may not remember. I mean, the game was originally released in 1997 on the first PlayStation, and ten years later debuted on Xbox 360. On March 4, 2020, this classic also arrived on modern mobile devices, where you can enjoy it unhindered, as long as you don't consider big pixels a hindrance.

Because this game looks nothing like modern. Some people will find it a really good pixel art, others may frown. In terms of gameplay, it's still just Castlevania: Symphony of the Nighta game that's hard to better. The mobile conversion feels quite good, but some changes are noticeable, mainly in the audio. Players unfamiliar with this game and looking for a complex Metroidvania should be satisfied with the purchase.

LEGO Legacy: Heroes Unboxed

  1. Genre: tactical RPG
  2. Requirements: Android 4.4
  3. Business Model: free-to-play

Another variation on the most popular bricks in the world. This time, as part of LEGO Legacy: Heroes Unboxed, we will be rebuilding the city of Piptown. We will recruit different characters to help us achieve this goal as well as to assist in the fights. Our team will include characters from various LEGO collections – City, Castle, to Ninjago.

The core of the game are battles where we use the abilities of our characters. Other attractions include building structures that increase the combat prowess of the characters belonging to a particular set. And while the single player mode is absolutely fine, people looking for PvP, clan wars, or thematic events will be disappointed. In this respect, LEGO Legacy: Heroes Unboxed needs a few updates with relevant new features.
