The Best Android Games 2020

The first quarter is behind us, and we already have a pretty decent selection of mobile games to check. Especially now, when a lot of people have more time.

Table of Contents

Disgaea 1 Complete

ON THIS PAGE YOU'LL FIND

  1. Genre: jRPG
  2. Requirements: Android 5.0
  3. Price: $49 – I'm not even kidding

Disgaea 1 Complete is a remastered version of the 2003 turn-based tactical jRPG. It was originally released on Switch and PS4 in 2018, but from January 30, it also supports Android smartphones. The only problem is the price – 150 bucks for a mobile game is definitely a hefty offer.

On the other hand, we get the full experience, all of the original content, and then some. No DLCs, no extra micropayments – pay once and get a cult-classic game on your phone. On top of that, smartphones are the only platform that has an additional mode – automated battles (speeding fights up, even using certain cheats). I should only add that the game itself is extremely pleasant and offers fun for many hours, but the price sure gives you second thoughts.

Little Misfortune

  1. Genre: adventure game
  2. Requirements: Android 7.0
  3. Price: $10

Adventure games are experiencing a real renaissance, albeit mostly on mobile platforms. The small touchscreen works perfectly for interactive stories. Little Misfortune is a good example of that – we play an eight-year-old girl who, in an attempt to make her mother happy, goes on a quest for Eternal Happiness. The game boasts lovely graphics, and all this has been seasoned with the right dose of black humour.

In Little Misfortune, the decisions we make affect the course of the story and its ending. The player gets a lot of dialogs and puzzles, but the game is very linear. If you don't want to take any chances, download the demo and see for yourself whether Little Misfortune is to your taste.
