The Best Android Games 2020

The first quarter is behind us, and we already have a pretty decent selection of mobile games to check. Especially now, when a lot of people have more time.

Arknights

  1. Genre: Tower defense
  2. Requirements: Android 4.1
  3. Business Model: free-to-play

I usually approach games like gacha with caution. They are the randomness made flesh, and in order to be able to have fun, you usually have to spend a lot of cash – even then, there's no guarantee you'll get the right character. However, Arknights looks quite well in this respect, providing a great deal of fun in the tower defense variation, while being a draw machine at the same time.

The game does amazing things to your free time. You will also notice you're playing more than you'd have planned. It is very engaging, the skirmishes are not long, and the ability to get increasingly powerful characters and strategically select team members is great. Too bad that the graphics mostly turn out underwhelming, especially compared to the amazing concept arts, which fans of animé will surely appreciate.
