Finally something for fans of tunr-based games and World War II reality. Panzer Corps 2 is a sequel to the 2011 strategy game. The follow-up was developed by Flashback Games (co-authors of the first installment, who aided the devs from The Lordz Games). The game allows you to take control of one of the factions and play one of several dozen scenarios in several different theaters of war.
In battles, we command real historical units using realistically reproduced equipment. The player has to take into account a number of factors – state of his strength and supplies, as well as the weather, which can interfere with even the most ambitious plans. The developers also implemented local multiplayer in Hotseat mode, which allows competing against friends, or joining forces with them against the AI.
A big change from the previous part of the cycle was the visual setting – Unreal Engine 4 technology was used here, making the graphics a whole lot better. The maps on which the action of the game takes place are more detailed, which is great, since we spend most of the time commanding troops on the battlefield.
