Digimon Survive

  1. Platforms: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch
  2. Genre: RPG, visual novel
  3. Developer: Bandai Namco Entertainment

Watching the trailer for Digimon Survive, you get some very contradictory feelings. Lazy atmosphere, magnificent, idyllic landscapes, young students and funny creatures – all this is combined with the struggle for survival, a lot of dangers and the constant risk of losing your life. What would come of it? Probably an epic, complex and unusual story, if you like the quirks of Japanese games.

Digimon Survive is a mix of a visual novel, a strategic RPG, survival and point'n'click. Perhaps the story of Takuma Momotsuki's apprentice who suddenly moves into the Digimons digital universe, is not as popular as the competing Pokemon, but if we like this style and atmosphere, it's worth taking a look at Digimon Survive.

It's for you if:

  1. you know and appreciate the Digimon universe;
  2. you like it Japanese.
