Partisans 1941

Perhaps some of you are looking forward to the announced return of the Commandos – the HD remake, and a completely new game designed for next generation of consoles. Few people have heard of Partisan 1941 – the stealth RTS from a Russian studio, Alter Games, in which we will lead of Soviet partisans during World War 2. This type of combat means that there will be no large battles, but mostly hit-and-run sabotage actions, which will require wits and a quick mind rather than sheer firepower.
In addition, Partisans 1941 will depict the raw and gloomy conditions in which the partisans prevailed throughout the war in the East. The game will have elements of survival and management of the base and its modest reserves. On top, we get difficult moral choices associated with the lives of our people. The action will span several months, so that the environment, vegetation and weather variability will also play a big role. Whether Partisans 1941 will manage to equal the cult-classic Commandos, we shall learn in February.
