Another year, another Assassin's Creed.

When asked about the source of "failure" of Assassin's Creed, most of the players have a simple answer: releasing a new part each year. According to many people, the short time that the developers have to create a game (2-3 years) is reflected in the quality of the series. With such a limited freedom and a financial knife to their throats, the authors cannot afford to experiment and test too many fresh solutions. And these would perhaps breathe new life into the series, but how can they be implemented if there's only enough time to improve the old patterns, create new textures and write a decent script? Perhaps this is the key matter. If the publishers and authors gave themselves an extra year or two, almost all of these problems could be solved, resulting in well-constructed characters, new mechanics, more thought-out world and a more complicated script... All of this is within reach – only time is lacking. But who knows, perhaps in the future the powers that be will take a chance and give the series a moment's respite. After all, as the assassins’ maxim goes, "everything is permitted". It would be a good idea to apply this concept when creating the next part of Assassin's Creed.
