What's Deathloop?

The creators of Dishonored and Prey once again try to win our hearts, this time with a first-person action game focused on a time loop. It so happens that the two protagonists are stuck in an endless cycle, within which they relive the same day over again. Breaking out of this circle will not be easy, because the enemies are plentiful, and each death resets the cycle.

Why is Deathloop worth it?

Deathloop uses solutions known from the roguelike genre. As part of the fun, our death doesn't so much end the adventure as it makes us start the day over again. However, we will be richer in experience and arsenal. This way, we will learn the layout of the map, as well as the weaknesses of specific opponents. First of all, we have eight main adversaries to eliminate. We don't have an imposed sequence of objectives, but we are limited by time. In return, you get the spectacle, and freedom in eliminating your opponents.

We, in turn, play as a detective who solves cases in the cyberspace. The decisions we make will shape not only the virtual world, but also affect our character. The developers also point out that the moral choices will be ambiguous, each NPC will have their own motivations, and we will not be morally judged for the path we choose.

In Kena: Bridge of Spirits, we will explore a mysterious forest, and the centerpiece of the game will be an abandoned village. As the story progresses, we will explore new scenic areas. There will also be environmental puzzles, catching ghosts, and above all, lot of fights. Skirmishes will be dynamic and will force us to use a variety of skills of the heroine. Kena won't be alone, as her ghostly companions will aid her in battles!
