Games that Deserve TV Series Adaptations
Mature stories and complex worlds deserve their own series. Game-related books have always accompanied brands like World of Warcraft, or Mass Effect, so why not switch to TV series now?

Dragon Age
Adaptation: obviously a competition for Game of Thrones.
To hell with The Witcher, to hell with Game of Thrones. Give us Dragon Age! If a professional team with a sizable budget were to do this, it could be just perfect. The miniseries, released a few years ago, was not a particular hit. I don't even remember what it was about; I just remember I saw it. The animé adaptation, too, was pretty unsatisfactory.
Bioware's lore has huge potential and is a bonanza for scenario ideas. Intimate, personal stories (characters like Morrigan, Alistair, Leliana, Varrick, or Dorian will forever remain in my heart), and conflicts set on a political or racial background. It definitely deserves to have a budget invested in it and a box-office production on a scale intended for the Netflix Witcher. Fantasy has already broken through to the mass audience – let them forge iron while it is hot.
