The Best Games Where We Can be Evil

Not virtuous heroes alone live video games. Some of them allow players to impersonate sinister, wicked characters with very immoral motives. And it is about such productions that we will tell ourselves today.

The famous KotOR is one of the best RPGs we could have played in history of the genre. It allows us to get to know the Star Wars universe from the period thousands of years before the events of A New Hope. In the first part, we defended the Republic against the ambitions of the evil Sith Lord Malak and his armada. In the second one, in turn, as one of the few Jedi survivors, we set out on a mission to find other knights and face the Sith together. So we started out as a positive hero, but it didn't have to stay that way.

KotOR had unique choices that would bring us closer to the light or dark side of the Force. So we could take the wrong side deliberately and become a character increasingly immersed in darkness as the story unfolds. The most significant effects of these decisions could be seen in the ending, both of the first part and the sequel. In both games, we could became the Sith Lord, instead of saving the Jedi order. The games in this series were the quintessence of RPG choices and offered a very powerful way of becoming an anti-hero.
