Most Original Games of 2022 - Didn't Copy ANYONE

In 2022, we had at least a few big, high-budget productions that, in order to get to the top, had to use the solutions of their predecessors. This list, on the other hand, includes indie games that the pressure of producers didn't give a damn.

The Mothman is a bogeyman that has fascinated people since the 1960s. Back then hundreds of people in Point Pleasant saw with their own eyes a huge humanoid creature with wings and huge red eyes, with which it seemed to mesmerize those looking. As if that wasn't enough, in 1967 the Silver Bridge collapsed, killing more than 40 people, and the bodies of two victims were never found.

The plot is based around those events. The title of the game suggests that the moth-man isn't the only such creature out there. There are also people in black and a group of youngsters facing a great mystery, their own dramas and nascent passions.

The game is designed in the style of the 80s, but bizarre enough that this association isn't obtrusive. The music, in turn, consists of 8-bit sounds, sometimes supported by a note disturbing the style and rhythm. Keep in mind that this is just a pretty, little visual novel. We will still have to decide the fate of the characters and perhaps solve the mystery of the appearance of a mysterious creature.
