More and more productions of a completely new caliber are appearing on the market – the so-called "AAA indie" aka "triple-i." These are independent games by smaller or unknown developers, but created with a much larger budget and support from a large publisher. Kena: Bridge of Spirits is this kind of a game – theoretically an independent game, released without a huge marketing campaign, which with its quality, refinement and unique charm surpasses many of the most advertised works.
Kena impresses not only with a graphic style straight out of Disney or Pixar animation (after all, the authors of the game are veterans in creating these kinds of films). Behind the somewhat infantile setting is a great action adventure game, with clever puzzles and addictive exploration. What's more, the boss battle system can be a real pain and is a challenge even for soulslike fans. So, we got an incredibly balanced game in terms of content and various gameplay mechanics, in which there is something for everyone.
