The veterans of Naughty Dog are famous for creating a few-part stories developed at the highest level of quality and it will be no different with the continuation of the story about Ellie and Joel. We meet our beloved heroes five years after the end of events from the first part, that is about twenty-five years after the outbreak of horrible infection, caused by a parasitic species which takes control of human beings and turns them into mindless but dangerous creatures.
The fun will start during the winter season in Jackson County, State of Wyoming, which we have seen on the last game trailers. However, the idyll will not last forever and soon after the start of out adventure we will seek revenge for all the painful events we have suffered. What cruelties and horrific experiences have caused this pain? We can already guess from the first video presented during the announcement of the follow-up. Surely, apart from the infected, we will have to fight against the cult of the Seraphites, which was depicted in the aforementioned video content.
