Seven Best Factions in Fallout Universe

Post-apocalypse as a genre is synonymous to the Fallout series for many gamers. The legendary series brought with it a ton of memorable characters and outlandish factions, and in this text, we list the most interesting of the latter.

Caesar's Legion

  1. Which game? Fallout: New Vegas
  2. Where can we find them? The Fort

If you think about it, the story of Caesar's Legion could have happened after an actual apocalypse. This is a group of people who decided to use symbolism from a bygone era to organize a kind of state in the wasteland. One of the potentially biggest problems after the fall of civilization could be the lack of a common idea that would force people to cooperate instead of fighting each other. And while invoking ancient Rome in radioactive Arizona may seem absurd, it could work.

This organization of neo-Roman slave hunters was supposed to appear in the cancelled installment of Fallout, which went down in history as Van Buren. The Legion is betting on iron discipline and sheer size of its army. Instead of looking for innovation, it prefers to mass produce standardized equipment. Caesar, the leader of the faction, does not fully believe in the benefits of new technologies – on the contrary, he believes that they led to the outbreak of the war that destroyed the world.

The Legion has quite cool equipment, stylized after the gear of historical legionaries. We can even join the faction and start doing missions for Caesar. However, we must reckon with the fact that our companions will abandon us, not agreeing with Legion's ideology.

TRIVIA

Fallout: New Vegas was created for Bethesda by Obsidian. Later, the companies no longer cooperated with each other, but recently they both became the property of Microsoft. It is not said that it will not lead to the creation of a new, better New Vegas.
