Seven Best Factions in Fallout Universe

Post-apocalypse as a genre is synonymous to the Fallout series for many gamers. The legendary series brought with it a ton of memorable characters and outlandish factions, and in this text, we list the most interesting of the latter.

Table of Contents

Zao and his crew

  1. Which game? Fallout 4
  2. Where can we find them? On The Yangtze

Well, it's hard to dub Captain Zao a "faction". In the past, however, he had an entire crew, and we can consider him a representative of the Chinese army – and this is a significant faction. In Fallout 4, we may encounter a Chinese submarine that got stuck off the US coast after it hit a sea mine. Interestingly, it can be found completely by accident or as part of a mission from Donny Kowalski.

The crew of the ship turned into ghouls due to radiation from the damaged reactor and slowly lost their minds, looking for a way to repair their ship and dreaming of returning home. In the end, the captain alone remained, and we can either help him repair the damaged vessel or kill him.

The desire for revenge may be justified, because, among other things, it was captain zao and his men who, under orders, fired the nuclear missiles that turned the United States in a nuclear wasteland. This is an interesting thread in which each of us must question limits of forgiveness and expiration date of responsibility.

TRIVIA

In the Fallout timeline, China invaded the US mainland in 2074. The tide of war began to change the invention of powered armor. Both countries were on the brink, but despite numerous problems, the US remained on the offensive. On October 23, 2077, both countries launched nuclear missiles, showering the world as we knew it in atomic fire.
