And another "roguelike" on the list. Before you start complaining about the number of roguelike games, in my defense, I will say that this is not just a roguelike, but one of the best representatives of this kind of games, offering top-class entertainment to fans.

This game combines the typical features of the genre - turn-based combat, randomly generated dungeons and a simple visual environment-with modern improvements such as mouse control and a user-friendly interface. The story told in the game takes place on the titular continent of Maj'Eyal, a world that is licking its wounds after years of grueling war with the orcs. Traveling through unusual lands, we strive for peace and eradication of bandits roaming the forests and monsters living in abandoned temples and dungeons. At the same time, we must check the rumors of orcs preparing to counterattack.

Nine available races to choose from, twenty-five different classes and a very flexible system of hero development, give a lot of freedom in the creation of the character suitable for one's style of play. The non-linear plot affected by player's decisions provides dozens of hours of fun. And the trophy hunters will definitely not be bored here - the steam version of Tales of Maj'Eyal offers a whopping 1,755 achievements to unlock!
