What kind of game is this?

CARRION is a horror action game developed by a small Polish studio called Phobia. The gimmick here is that we play a monster hunting for people. We roam a big facility as a shapeless monster, searching for scientists and guards locked together with us and killing them mercilessly. We grow stronger witch each kill, increasing our size and gaining new skills.

What made the players like this game so much?

CARRION attracted hundreds of thousands of players (over 200,000, according to official figures) with its brutality, distinctive graphics, and immersive gameplay, but the biggest magnet turned out to be the original gameplay formula that switches the usual sides, making us the predator. And while many people said the production quickly becomes boring, and would most likely require many updates, they also admitted that they had great fun with it anyway.
