The first part of The Wolf Among Us probably delighted not only fans of adventure games and the people, who know the comic book original – Fables. The creators of the great The Walking Dead may not have repeated such emotions here, but they certainly did a great job of conveying the atmosphere of a noir-style crime story and perfectly selected the cast for the roles of famous fairy-tale characters who chose a mundane life in modern New York. With all the difficulties and dilemmas of everyday life, not to mention the need to take a special potion to hide your true origin from people.
What's known about the sequel so far is that it will again be an adventure game about exploration and making various choices. Bigby and Snow White will return, and there will be new Fables. The creators ensure that knowledge of the first part will not be needed to understand the plot, because the stories are separate. However, fans of part one will recognize some familiar themes, because the events of the past had a significant impact on the characters. How big – we will find out next year.
