Strongest and Bravest Female Video Game Characters

There is no shortage of female characters in games these days. Especially when it comes to leading roles, there's been a huge improvement in female representation. Some of them wield magic, some are children of destiny, but all are incredibly courageous.

Table of Contents

Six (Little Nightmares)

  1. Year of debut: 2017
  2. Key games: Little Nightmares, Very Little Nightmares, Little Nightmares 2
  3. Age when he does his bravest deeds: 9
  4. Voice actresses: Hilda Liden

Little Six from Little Nightmares is not as innocent as we'd like to think. Though only 9 years old, she seems aware of the brutal actions she is undertaking. Nevertheless, it is impossible to deny her courage. Trying to find a way to escape from the submarine (?), the girl fights with huge gargoyles, a long-armed, blind caretaker, twins cooks or a demonic old woman living in the water. Of all these clashes, she manages to emerge victorious.

The title of the game may suggest something else, but in fact the nightmares in Little Nightmares are huge, incredibly plastic, and can make you heartbreak. In the second part, the creators went one step further. A teacher with infinitely extending head, in case the player fails to escape from it, simply bites Six's head off. Not very original? Perhaps. But it was made so well that this scene makes even the toughest players shiver.

However, despite having to deal with a whole bunch of disgusting and brutal little child-eaters, Six dosn't give up. Unlike some of her companions (as shown in the spin-off comic book), she doesn't intend to get caught and doesn't hesitate to deal with the pursuers whenever possible. And although it's difficult to consider her a heroine worth imitating, she has enough courage to give away to the entire cast of many a war FPS, and then some.
