The Breathtaking Keanu Reeves and Co. - Top Movie Stars and Celebrities in Video Games

Keanu Reeves, who charmed the viewers during E3, was not the first actor to perform in the games. Or the last one. In Death Stranding we will meet at least a few stars in the lead roles. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Jack Black – Brutal Legend

Genre: action-adventure

Developer: Double Fine Productions Inc.

Platforms: PC, PS3, X360

You can wear all the studded bracelets your arm can accommodate, and all the hardcore t-shirts with band names at the same time, but you will never be as metal as Brutal Legend, a gaming tribute to heavy music. The story? Banal, you need to save the world. But the way it's told! In the spirit of the most over-the-top metal songs about heroism, dragons and axes. The vast was a real R'n'R Hall of Fame: Ozzy Osbourne, Lemmy Kilmister and Rob Hallford are just a few names to begin with. They give their voices and silhouettes in a cartoonish, but essentially faithful form.

...And then, there's the face of the project. The most buffed version of Jack Black (Tenacious D) you will ever see. And it's no surprise that this particular actor and musician was chosen as the main character of the game. Tim Schafer knew what he was doing. He chose to the guy who found The Pick of Destiny, went to Blizzcon when it was still cool, and finally defeated the Devil himself with sheer music. Yeah, there's no beating this guy.

Jack Black plays Eddie Riggs, a technician serving heavy metal concerts. An otherwise ordinary guy with passion. Only that his belt buckle is possessed. When a few drops of blood fall upon the cursed hunk of metal, a demmon is freed, capturing Riggs to a land, where the gods of metal used to dwell. In their absence, the dimension had become a living hell, and only one divine entity can make order there. Using music and a big-ass axe. So, Eddie sets out to forge his legend. This is one of Jack Black's most graceful incarnations.

Peter Stormare – Untill Dawn

Genre: Horror/adventure, action

Developer: Supermassive Games

Platforms: PS4

Some actors just can't escape their image. Whatever they do, we remember them from a single role. It's like the fate of those people was written in concrete. Some struggle with it, like Matthew McConaughey, others fully embrace it. Peter Stormare chose the second option.

No matter if it's a role of a degenerate (Last Action Hero) or a thug (John Wick 2), Stormare is always up for the challenge, anxious to portray a fleshed-out supporting character. His character – The Pysycho – in Until Dawn is a psychiatrist who conducted therapy sessions of one of the game's antagonists. He appeared a rather unstable character for a specialist in suicide thoughts, but the game telegraphed a turn of events of some sort.

Either way -- this is another characteristic role from Stormare, in this case built with more nuance and complexity.
