Monster Busters: Hexa Blast isn't the most inventive representative of the genre. The gameplay is based on standard principles – match-3 with some minor variations. We stack items, in this case monsters of the same type, side by side to earn points. The creatures are divided into different types, representing specific elements. Activating them causes special effects that let us unlock previously inaccessible monsters, or destroy additional objects.
It seems simple, but thanks to this, the gameplay becomes more dynamic and encourages being more inventive. There are no typical RPG elements, but there's nice, cartoonish graphics, and quite a powerful online module. Much attention was given to rated PvP games, which, contrary to popular belief, can be quite engaging.
