Wake Up Grandpa! The Best Mods for Classic Games

Older games are a lot of fun, but returning to them can be as rewarding as it can be disappointing. Fortunately, fans of these games, who have the know-how often bring them up to modern standards. Here's a list of the best mods to all-time classics.

Table of Contents

Deus Ex – New Vision

New Vision
  1. Game: Deus Ex
  2. Creator: DaveW
  3. Size: 1.15 GB
  4. Current version: 1.5

The next item on the list is the oldest game here. Deus Ex is 20 years old, so the first impression of this cult-classic isn't exactly flattering. Fortunately, modders come to the rescue. This project is the work of several people.

New Vision was created for over five years, and it's quite amazing what the creators managed to pull out. I think all the textures were updated, the graphics are generally much cleaner, and the details are a lot better. That's true for both big assets like buildings, and small items like computers and screens.
