This game is set in the universe created for the Front Mission series. The players assume the role of three heroes trapped in a war-torn Russian city. Left Alive presents the events in the third-person perspective. As you complete consecutive missions you must fulfill diverse, non-linear objectives. An essential part of gameplay is combat – on the battlefield you get to use both firearms and self-made traps, as well as other deadly gadgets against your enemies. Alternatively, you are free to put down your guns and use a stealthy approach. Apart from enemy infantry, from time to time you must fight the so-called Wanzers, i.e. powerful mechs, iconic for the Front Mission series – interestingly, there are several occasions in the game, in which you can control one of those and strike fear in your opponents’ hearts. Objects in Space

Simulation 01 March 2019

An unusual space simulator created by Flat Earth Games. The action of the game takes place in a distant future, in which humanity has colonized many planetary systems. During the game, a player assumes the role of a space merchant, who travels through dangerous regions of the galaxy supplying various goods to whoever pays most. The player’s objective is to earn a lot of money - since his vessel is designed for moving merchandise, a direct confrontation with an opponent will end tragically. This is also why the game does not deliver spectacular battle sequences, and the key aspect of the gameplay is to use the stealthy approach and avoid confrontation with large groups of enemies. In order to succeed, one has to properly manage their energy and resources and make a number of difficult decisions. The players, more than once, have to decide which systems of the vessel are to remain active, and which should be shut down.

ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove
ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove

Action 01 March 2019

Another installment in the action-adventure game series about two strange aliens – ToeJam and Big Earl. During their interstellar journeys, their ship crash-lands on a nearby planet, which turns out to be Earth. The heroes and their friends (on some rare occasions you will also control Peabo and Lewanda) need to find replacement parts for their vessel in order to go home. Similarly to the first part of the game, ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove presents the action from the isometric point of view. The mechanics consists of free exploration, fighting ridiculous enemies, and playing funny minigames. During the game, the heroes come across mysterious presents which can either help or harm – the only way to find out is to open them. Co-op is surely an asset – each adventure can be played solo or with up to three other players. All of this is complemented by great visuals – the world and the characters seem like they were cut out from paper, and the depth is intensified by the 3D perspective. The pleasurable soundtrack is inspired by music trends of the 90s.
