Action games. Wide category of games that require reflex, accuracy and agility. It includes, among other things, shooters (e.g. Call of Duty and Battlefield series) and action-adventure games (Tomb Raider). First and third person perspective (FPP/TPP) is used. In most cases we are playing as a character who has to defeat some enemies and reach a specific point. We can use a wide range of weapons, including pistols, rocket launchers, swords, knives and like. Action-adventure is a particular category within action games genre. Such titles put less emphasis on action and combat, focusing more on story, exploration and puzzles.

Samurai Warriors: Spirit of Sanada

This time the player assumes the role of Yukimura Sanada, one of the more popular protagonists of the series. We follow his story from birth, through the trainings that prepare him to combat, to the civil war and death during the siege of Osaka. The gameplay is similar to the one present in the previous games in the series and is based on battles with thousands of participants.

A third-person action game which can be called a jealous girl simulator, developed by an independent designer by the nickname of YandereDev. The title is a term borrowed from Japanese pop culture, meaning a type of personality: such person seems nice and harmless at the first glance but with time shows their alternate, brutal aspect. In Yandere Simulation, we assume the role of a seemingly ordinary high school student who is madly in love with a boy.

A third-person action game created by former Ubisoft employees. Absolver invites the players to a fantasy realm styled after the Far East. The player assumes the role of a warrior, who wishes to join the eponymous group of elite guardians of peace and stability. The heart of gameplay is the complex system of short-range combat. The game lets you use four fighting styles interchangeably, all of which offer a wide array of melee weapons, starting with character’s own fists.
BioShock 2 Remastered

RICO

RICO is an FPS game by Ground Shatter. Its atmosphere and plot were inspired by police movies of the 1980s and 1990s. You play as a brave cop, who decides to crack down on a powerful cartel all by himself. The maps in the game are randomly generated, giving you new challenges with each playthrough. A key aspect of the production are the mechanics of charging into locked rooms.
Ion Fury

Developed by Voidpoint and published by 3D Realms, Ion Maiden is a sci-fi FPS game. The player is taken to the future and assumes the role of a female mercenary known as Bombshell - her goal is to save humanity from an invasion of aliens. Although the game utilizes the Build engine from Duke Nukem 3D, the creators modernized it to a significant degree. Mechanics were also improved - the formula of said classic title laid the groundwork, though it got adequately expanded.
Police Stories

A tactical top-down shooter, and at the same time a debut production from Mighty Morgan. The main protagonists – John Rimes and Rick Jones – are police operatives specializing in high-risk operations, such as rescuing hostages and infiltrating gang hideouts. As the enemies need only 2-3 shots to kill the main protagonist, the players have to exercise caution and react quickly.
