The second installment of the arcade racing game based on the popular German series about the adventures of police officers patrolling motorways. This time the action takes place on the streets of 4 German cities: Berlin, Cologne, Hamburg and Munich. The game offers a much improved graphics and a wider choice of play modes, including a 2-player split screen.
Alarm for Cobra 11: Vol. II Description
Alarm for Cobra 11: Vol. II, released on PC and PS2, is a continuation of an arcade racing game based on the German TV series, which has been released after almost 4 years of break. Contrary to the original, the game was developed by the Davilex studio, which has several budget racing games for PC and PlayStation.
Mechanics
The characters known from the TV series are back, and the fun once again comes down to quick and effective chases. This time, our goal is to break up a dangerous gang of car thieves. While completing the next tasks prepared by the developers, we unlock access to new cars and a bonus video about the pilot episode of the series. As in the original, the individual missions were combined with a criminal plot.
Game modes
Besides the single-player, Alarm for Cobra 11: Vol. II also offers the option for two players to compete on a split-screen.
The game features 25 unlicensed car models, including various police and civilian vehicles. The action of several dynamic missions takes place on the roads of four German cities: Berlin, Cologne, Hamburg and Munich.
Technical aspects
Compared to the original, Alarm for Cobra 11: Vol. II better graphics and a much greater variety of gameplay modes.
