A first-person sci-fi role-playing game featuring elements of cyberpunk. StarCrawlers, a title that pays tribute to the classics of dungeon crawlers, was developed by Juggernaut Games. The player assumes the role of the leader of a group of scavengers exploring space stations and fighting hostile machines. Their main goal is to infiltrate a huge spaceship which was originally traveling to an unknown planet in order to colonize it.

Action 24 August 2017

An original free-to-play MMO game that combines gameplay mechanics of such games as World of Tanks with graphics resembling those from the cult Minecraft. The title is the debut project of the independent British studio called Freejam. The gameplay focuses on multiplayer competition with the use of personally designed vehicles on various maps that are different not only in terms of looks but also laws of physics. We build our very own cars with available blocks.

A hybrid of a platform and a survival game. The title was developed by two people – Joar Lisberg Jakobsson was the lead programmer and the author of the idea of the game while the music was composed by James Primate. The game takes place in a hostile post-industrial realm filled with complicated machinery. The environment is constantly plagued by downpours and the animals that live in it are forced to hide from the rain in a hibernated state.

An FPP sci-fi platform game by indie studio Fusty Games. Hover: Revolt of Gamers is set in a metropolis ruled by the ruthless Mayor. He thinks that one of the biggest threats to his power are games, which is why he confiscates all consoles and other gaming devices. The players take on the roles of travelers from an alternative world, who decide to overthrow the dictator.

A two-dimensional action game with designs resembling old cartoon movies, which is a debut production of StudioMDHR, an independent developer. In Cuphead, we assume the role of a gambling addict that loses his soul to the devil during one of his sessions. To retrieve it, he needs to work off its equivalent. When it comes to mechanics, the game is a 2D fighting game with a degree of platforming elements – we participate in continuous 1v1 fights, taking place on special 2D arenas.

A dynamic science-fiction TPP shooter developed by GameCrafter studio. The game focuses on mech battles. The story of Project Nimbus takes place at the end of 21st century. After a great war that ravaged almost the whole surface of the planet, the remaining humans escaped to the orbit and split into three hostile factions that are constantly fighting each other over resources.

Seventh major installment in the cult series of survival horrors created by Capcom and launched in year 1996 on the PlayStation console. Subsequent parts of this long-standing series concentrate on a battle the humanity wages against a deadly virus which transforms those it infects into bloodthirsty monsters. The players accompany several characters who appeared in various installments of Resident Evil over the years as well as in many side installments.

The action of the game takes place on the territory of today’s Russia, now a country devastated by an ecological cataclysm that wiped most of humanity out of the face of Earth. During the game, the player gets to discover the true reasons behind the cataclysm and attempts to help in rebuilding the human civilization.

An FPS created by Polish developer The Farm 51, mainly known for the NecrovisioN franchise and the latest installment in the Painkiller series. The game tells a story of a man whose profession involves tying up loose ends for governments and influential persons. The protagonist’s situation complicates when one of his potential victims decides to fight back. The story is presented from the twin perspectives of the two rivaling characters.

An unusual third-person perspective action game. It takes place in a dystopian world inhabited by anthropomorphic warriors like rabbits, wolves, dogs, cats and rats. The main protagonist refuses to claim the throne after killing the corrupted king and instead embarks on a dangerous journey. His objective is to fix the world that is consumed by anarchy and the lack of law. The game is powered by an original physics-based engine and features a special combat system.

A stylish game developed by Team Colorblind, an independent studio based in Phoenix, Arizona. The game combines elements of two seemingly incompatible video game genres – turn-based strategy and brawler. The story is set 20 years before the Spanish Conquistadors came to America, and the player is tasked with expanding the Aztec empire, collecting taxes, and handling various randomly generated events.

A two-dimensional action game developed by Rock Wall Games. The players assume control of a unit of bloodthirsty ants that fight against other teams on two-dimensional arenas. The gameplay of Formicide is very similar to the famed Worms series, with a small exception – the game is much more dynamic, as the combat takes place in real time rather than in a turn-based system. We are left with a few typical game modes and numerous two-dimensional, terraformable zones.

The production utilizes the third person's view, and the key aspect of the gameplay is making choices.

With all electronic devices disabled and water and food supplies running low, the player has to struggle to survive the incoming winter.

You assume the role of a boy who is trying to escape a mysterious island that conceals a sinister past. During the course of the game you will solve numerous puzzles, using a magical artifact that allows you to manipulate the environment and time. The title, despite being an action game also includes many platformer elements.

The third installment in a war-themed RTS game series, whose previous editions were released in the years 2003-2007. The game was developed by Russian studio Nival Interactive, also known for Rage of Mages, Silent Storm, and the fifth installment in the cult Heroes of Might & Magic series. In contrast to its predecessors, Blitzkrieg 3 focuses mainly on multiplayer gameplay and is available as a free-to-play game with microtransactions.

Our job will be to find the reason behind those events and to unravel a galactic conspiracy Alyssa was unaware of before. Gameplay in Cosmic Star Heroine focuses on exploration and combat.

An original simulator of a martian planetary rover, developed by Bohemia Interactive, the Czech developer team also responsible for the helicopter simulator, Take on Helicopters, and two famous military simulation franchises - Operation Flashpoint and ArmA. The game aims at realistically representing a research mission on Mars and simulating the behavior of martian rovers, including an extensive damage model. Take on Mars offers two game modes.

A brutal motorcycle racing game and a spiritual successor to the legendary Road Rash that debuted in 1991 on Sega Mega Drive. It was developed by DarkSeas Games, an American studio established by experienced developers. In the game, we assume the role of a criminal who has been recently released from prison and has to regain his former position in a motorcycle gang. Soon, he discovers that his old friends from the gang were responsible for him getting arrested and imprisoned.

The plot of The Franz Kafka Videogame was inspired by the works and life of the eponymous writer. The story, however, is not an exact copy of its literary predecessors, but follows a different plot, in which you can find references to e.g. the novels The Castle and America, as well as the stories The Judgement, The Metamorphosis, and others.

In contrast to the first game, this one is based on the free-to-play business model, and offers two entirely different multiplayer modes. The first one is a traditional co-op, in which players of different skills and specializations join forces against waves of enemies of increasing difficulty.

Darkwood is the first commercial project of a Polish studio, Acid Wizard, and its development has been backed up by users voting on the Steam Greenlight platform. The game takes place in a procedurally generated open world, with the player placed in the role of a character trying to survive the confrontations with supernatural beings without losing his sanity in the eponymous dark wood.

The title was created by indie developer inXile entertainment, mostly known for the highly acclaimed remake of The Bard’s Tale and post-apocalyptic Wasteland 2. The game is a spiritual successor to Planescape: Torment - one of the classics of the genre, created by Black Isle Studio in 1999.

A three-dimensional platformer inspired by classics like Banjo-Kazooie, Conker’s Bad Fur Day and Donkey Kong 64, developed by the independent studio Mecha the Slag. A Hat in Time lets us play as Hat Kid, a girl who travels in time, fights villains and solves numerous puzzles. During the campaign, we visit five varied worlds and try to foil the plan of Mustache Girl. Hat Kid uses a special umbrella that acts as e.g. parachute, weapon and even propeller.

BioWare Montreal, the development studio that helped create the two previous installments took the reins of Mass Effect: Andromeda's development. The game's story is not associated with the trilogy about Commander Shepard's fight against the Reapers, offering instead a completely separate plot featuring new characters and locations.

It is the debut project of an independent developer, Sauropod, and its production has been backed up by Kickstarter. Castle Story takes the players to a world consisting of several islands floating in the air. The core of the gameplay is designing and building a stronghold, which we later defend against invaders.

Gameplay is a mix of games like Onimusha and Dark Souls.
