Diablo: Hellfire PC

Hellfire is the only official expansion for Diablo, an action game with RPG elements that conquered the gaming market in 1996. Developed by Synergistic Software, the add-on offers numerous novelties that lengthen the single player gameplay.

In Hellfire, there is officially but one new playable character class: a Monk, but if we modify the configuration file, we can unlock two “test” classes: a Bard and a Barbarian. The story of the add-on revolves around annihilation of Na-Krul, a demon imprisoned in the last level of the Crypt. Traditionally, the location consists of four randomly generated floors. Apart from that, in Hellfire, we may visit Hive that is inhabited by monsters resembling worms and insects.

The expansion also comes with new unique armor, weapons, spells, magical items’ properties and an amulet that lets us carry a greater amount of gold with us. Of course, the game does not lack for special quest and other smaller enhancements, for example previously unseen shrines.
