Fast RMX Description
Fast RMX is a dynamic racing game created by independent developer Shin’en Multimedia. This game is called a spiritual successor the WipEout series, and was designed with the view of the Nintendo Switch console. However, the developers are by no means newbies – their back catalogue includes warmly received FAST Racing Neo, among others.
Mechanics
In Fast RMX players sit behind the wheels of futuristic cars with powerful anti-gravity drives on board. Vehicles of the kind are used in spectacular races, participants of which reach speed of hundreds of miles per hour. In Fast RMX you get to compete for victory on 30 diverse routes set in various environments, such as canyons, snowy mountains or vast metropolises.
The key to victory is not only proper handling of the vehicle of your choice, but also perfect knowledge of individual routes, which are filled with various power-ups that can give you temporary advantage over your rivals.
Game modes
Fast RMX for SWITCH can be played either solo or in company of other players. Split-screen multiplayer allows up to four players to compete with one another, whereas when playing online this number increases to eight. Additionally, there is a special game mode waiting to be unlocked, called Hero Mode, in which not only the basic rules of the game change, but players also face some brand new challenges.
Technical aspects
Similarly to its cult ancestor, Fast RMX is characterized by high-quality 3D graphics. Also note that the game runs in smooth 60 frames per second in 1080p resolution.
