A spectacular fighting game developed by Bandai, based on the license of the cult manga by Akira Toriyama. The players assume the role of characters known from the series — among the 23 available ones we can find Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, and Trunks. Every one of them has a different set of attacks, special combat abilities and energy attacks, including the iconic Kamehameha. For the money we earn while playing, not only can we unlock additional fighters but also enhance their offensive capabilities with new, powerful elements. Story Mode remains at the core of the game. In it, we can take part in the most important duels from the animated TV series — starting from the fight against Freezer to the final battle against Cell. Fights take place in nine varied environments inspired by battlefields featured in the original, including the temple of Kami or the Chamber of Time. Dragon Ball Z: Budokai also offers a tournament mode, duel mode, and a special training mode that lets us hone our skills. The game features colorful three-dimensional graphics inspired by the works of the Japanese mangaka and high-quality dubbing — characters are voiced by the actors from the American version of the animated TV series.

Dragon Ball Z: Sagas follows the story told in the Dragon Ball Z TV series — you play as the invincible Goku, who has to face more and more powerful foes, from Raditz, through Vegeta and Nappa, to Freezer and Cell. The gameplay consists on exploring, completing quests, and battling enemies. In combat, you use not only advanced battle techniques, but also powerful energy attacks, including the “kamehameha”. You can both in the single player mode or in the co-op mode for two players. The high-quality visuals were based on the original manga art.
