Hunter's Trophy Description
Hunter's Trophy, released on PC and PS3, was developed by Kylotonn Games. The game combines elements of hunting simulation and first-person shooter (FPS), focusing on great realism of virtual hunting. The title was produced in close cooperation with the Hunting Association of the Pays de la Loire region in western France.
Mechanics
Players have the opportunity to hunt in swamps, fields or forests. Individual habitats are inhabited by a total of 20 species of wild animals (e.g. mallard, beaver, deer, wild boar, fox, goose, partridge, snipe, pheasant, rabbit), each of which has its habits and characteristic behaviors.
Players have access to 10 types of weapons (rifles and bows), as well as elements of hunting equipment such as binoculars, lure or dog. The gameplay is characterized by great realism. The hunting strategy has a significant impact on virtual hunting, which should take into account such factors as weather conditions, wind direction or noise.
Game modes
Hunter's Trophy offers several gameplay variants, including career mode, quick game and the bonus Ball-trap, in which up to four players can take part in the same hunt. The available setting options allow you to define factors such as weather conditions, time of day, type of weapon or form of hunting (an ambush or from trenches).
